In order for us to plan for the possible return to school of these year groups, please consider these questions and phone school ASAP.
Return to school parent questionnaire for F1, Reception, Y1 and Y6 children.
The government have announced that some year groups may be eligible to return to school from June 1st at the earliest. This is dependent upon the scientific data and may be later, but schools have been asked to plan for the return.
The first wave of year groups are: Nursery, Reception, Y1 and Y6.
The children of Key Workers will continue to be eligible for full time places if they do not have someone to look after them at home.
They have also indicated that, before the Summer holidays, they want all primary aged children to return to school.
As they require all children to be taught in smaller classes, the only feasible way for us to do this would be to offer part time places. It could be that we only offer part time from the start, or that we offer full time and then move to part time as the numbers increase. We would like to help you to get back to work, so will try to accommodate you as best as we can – but this may not be possible depending on numbers.
For our planning of staffing, accommodation and time tabling, we need to have a good idea of the numbers of children who will be attending.
As your child is eligible, please consider your answer to the questions below and phone school ASAP with your response: 0115 9632833
- Do you intend to send your child back to school if it reopens this term?
- If part time is offered, would you like Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday? Or every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday?
- Would your child need to use the school bus?
